For the last few years the Google Calendar Express applications have been available for free. They are more of an internet alternative to My Outlook as opposed to a desktop calendar application. Although both applications are functional, they do not appear to be updated. Most users are now asking if they can download these applications or not. There is now a free application called Android Calendar App that allows users to download and use calendar applications in a mobile phone without having to be signed up to a network or pay a monthly fee.
Although Google Calendar Express was both free applications, there are some bugs with them that make it difficult to use. This application has been available for some time now, but it is not being updated and offers a much better free alternative. Although this application does not allow users to download calendars, there is an option in the application menu that enables users to download existing calendars. This means that users do not have to pay for Calendar Express but can instead use this application to download calendars from anywhere they want, as long as they have a mobile phone.
Although the free application is often times buggy, it is a very functional free application that will not let users download any apps or anything else. The applications were only available on a free basis due to how unstable they were but even on the free version there is nothing to download. It is simply a software package that can be downloaded from the Android Market and works just like any other free application. Although there are many programs available for free online, these software programs are also limited in their functions.
